Welcome to my blog styleinque (pronounced style ink)- my own little piece of the universe to highlight the best, brightest, and newest out there regarding fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. This blog is borne out of necessity- in my experience, I have found that the next "thing" often comes not from the runways, but the streets. We dictate style. Let it be known!
So my first entry comes from my own little black book of resources. As a pr and marketing professional, I often represent indie designers, organizations, etc. (And I gotta tell you, they know a thing or two about what's next, style and buzz. ) There is always a debate among industry professionals and individuals alike concerning the nebulous term "style"- what is it? Can it be taught? How do things come "into style"? So many questions, so many different answers! In my quest to solve this conundrum, I seek out the experts- those who just seem to know "who, what, when, why and how" when it comes to well, everything! (or so it seems...) Submitted for your approval, panel experts #1: Crème Magazine. I honestly am a true fan and enthusiast of online Crème Magazine- they definately have their finger of the next movement (but I am just a lil biased...).
